Fall sports, Rangers win, Cowboys losing, what's up?

So it's fall, the Cowboys are playing now. The Cowboys losing is not a Texas tradition by any stretch of the imagination.  Rumors are rising locally and on the networks among current and former players that Jason Garett is predictable and boring with his play design and play calling.

Surprisingly the Texas Rangers are playing post-season baseball for the first time in the franchise history.  And winning.  Wow, what's up with that?  I give Nolan Ryan a lot of credit for that success.  Oh, and btw, isn't it ironic that the Rangers are playing the Yankees in the ALCS and the Yankees "ARod" is still being paid by the Rangers!  I wish I had a previous job that was still paying me today, don't you?

All the sports in the fall and the nice weather got me in the spirit and I went and bought a couple of new balls for my son the other day.

We got a football and a soccer ball. 

They didn't look this colorful when I was a kid though.
